New toys have arrived, but I have gotten around to setting them up yet. They've all still have Windows installed. To be honest, even the new toys are NOT particularly spectacular. Gamers would sneer. I insisted on all Intel this go-around. I really should just yank that Nvidia card and see how bad the generic built-in AMD thing is. I did set up an Android Tablet, but only really use it to start washing machines and dryers through an app.
I gott'a agree with you on all Intel, that's a great choice. I know AMD is "cool and all" and seems like a beast on specifications but I think at the end of the day, Intel is performing much better and more stable for the long run.
How come you don't use Fedora? Linus Torvalds is using Fedora, which I would guess means it's more stable and have more "official" support so to speak but I think Mint is pretty good, seems very userfriendly.
Gaming wise, I think not much beats Nvidia, it's simply the best. The end.
