I know it can be done, but have you ever actually seen it implemented?

...Post some specifications porn damn it!
Still using the old set up from before, it's Linux mint on this now aging Ryzen 5 with 8MB ram. Same shitty Nvidia Graphics card (GeForce GTX 1660) that still crashes now and then. To be honest, the thing still runs great.

New toys have arrived, but I have gotten around to setting them up yet. They've all still have Windows installed. To be honest, even the new toys are NOT particularly spectacular. Gamers would sneer. I insisted on all Intel this go-around. I really should just yank that Nvidia card and see how bad the generic built-in AMD thing is. I did set up an Android Tablet, but only really use it to start washing machines and dryers through an app.
Well, if it isn't broke...

I gott'a agree with you on all Intel, that's a great choice. I know AMD is "cool and all" and seems like a beast on specifications but I think at the end of the day, Intel is performing much better and more stable for the long run.

How come you don't use Fedora? Linus Torvalds is using Fedora, which I would guess means it's more stable and have more "official" support so to speak but I think Mint is pretty good, seems very userfriendly.

Gaming wise, I think not much beats Nvidia, it's simply the best. The end.

ahhahhha that's funny.

Speaking of witch, I wrote a long article about Windows 11 in Foold's design section, then of course accidentally reverted back the database and lost the text! I'm sooo pissed off over it. Trying to force myself to rewrite it.

Actually yes, I have. I've seen MSI has it on start, I don't remember when where but definitely remember seeing it so I think it can be done.

No, not seen it "implemented" as in, watching a computer shop do it but definitely seen it but it must have been long long time ago, maybe not possible anymore these days. there is this tool https://github.com/Metabolix/HackBGRT/releases, HackBGRT, but it's for startup not shutdown. I'm guessing it's probably maybe not possible these days, even though maybe it was once upon a time.

Not sure if that OS will remain or not. Trying to do hygiene on all the old toys and my little network too.

Sorta laughing, I got a cheaper device to install ChromeOS Flex on. It's the only one that came with Win11 Pro.

Yeah, I've ran Fedora before. It's fine. I've sorta gotten used to the *buntu way of doing things.
