Here I am after more than a year to get back to SP3 in Spanish, but I still have problems with the installer, as infex hangs.
I don't understand what's going on, I made the cabs using cabarc, is there a tool to make the cabs?

I'm attaching the non-functional installer and a video of the error in case someone can take a look at it.

Seriously, so sad. Over 10 MILLION views and PROBLEMCHYLD didn't earn a penny. Think about it, NOT EVEN A PENNY. This type of stuff is the reason Windows looks the way it does now, a total disaster, because smart people jumped ship from the computer industry long ago. Everyone wants everything for free. It's disgusting.   Freeware is nice and all, true, but come'on, sometimes, there are people who put a lot of soul, life, money, effort, time into a project and they get thousands, hudreds of thousands, even millions of users... but these users? They never send even a penny to the project. It's awful awful awful. Imagine if these 10 million or more viewers, sent him just $1, what he could've done with the project. Instead, it dissolved into nothing, because well, we can't live off air. Sad. Sad. Sad.

I bet these very same users, have no problem buying a coffee for $10 and don't think twice doing it, yet, in software industry, for some crazy reason, everything is supposed to be free. It's not just sad but sick.

Personally, I had a lot of projects too, they turned to poop. One had thousands of active users. I earned not even a penny from it. I lost money on it instead. I had some projects that never even saw the daylight, because I couldn't risk putting time and money on it, when I was 100% sure, users would never pay a penny for it. Funny, how everyone complained about advertisements everywhere on the Internet. Well du'h, you don't fucking pay $1, stuff isn't free you know. Servers, etc.! And look what happened in the end? The Internet basically died. It's now gone and "Internet" is equal to Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, X and Instagram. That's basically it. Yuck.

I guess I'm understanding why you didn't give a fuck last time. I've known for a while how bad and overrated some of the built-in 'protection' browsers use is. I'm beginning to see how bad anti-malware and anti-virus software has become. Heh, search for people who wrote programs years ago (some of them for their own use) upgrading to Win10 or 11 and having the stuff flagged. "reputation-based protection"
Old post but yeah... I got a few of those, made decades ago, flagging my old private stuff I made. They don't even do any "harm" or nothing, just moving stuff around or fiddling in my own computer this antivirus bullshit sets off scream. LOL

Ugh. What to even say here? Part of this needs to come down to some user education too. Understanding what 'Potentially Unwanted' means. The fact that Windows is full of holes, as I was pointing out here: https://techtalk.cc/viewtopic.php?p=20419#p20419, Windows itself is full of stuff that hackers use. The dude bitching about the stuff being made by 'a Russian' made me think of the Boomer with a computer meme.

Here, that thread that I mentioned above was started to show how to become TrustedInstaller. Get a load of this:

https://thehackernews.com/2025/09/from- ... lware.html
Cybersecurity researchers have disclosed details of a phishing campaign that delivers a stealthy banking malware-turned-remote access trojan called MostereRAT
Another is its ability to run as TrustedInstaller, a built-in Windows system account with elevated permissions, enabling it to interfere with critical Windows processes, modify Windows Registry entries, and delete system files.
Sometime you wonder if hackers may get inspiration from security researchers. I did chuckle when reading about it in September.

What about the author/developer of that code, a Yuri Popov from Russia? Roughly half of 75 security software vendors have flagged or detected this as malware/trojan with a high confidence score. e.g.

VirusTotal Report

Joe's Sandbox Automated Report

It's obviously not code from Microsoft or distributed in any updates for Windows. What does it do and why do we need it?
Uh-oh, I recently have found details of a Microsoft employee with MULTIPLE RUSSIANS!!!!!

https://nypost.com/2026/02/25/us-news/i ... -antonova/
One of two Russian women Bill Gates admits having affairs with during his 27-year marriage was helped financially by Jeffrey Epstein — who used the sordid secret to try to blackmail the billionaire Microsoft co-founder.

Gates’ surprising mea culpa Tuesday was a questionable attempt to cleanse his image over his friendship with Epstein, which ex-wife Melinda French Gates largely blames for destroying their marriage.

“I did have affairs, one with a Russian bridge player … and one with a Russian nuclear physicist,” the billionaire told staff at a town hall for his Gates Foundation, according to the Wall Street Journal.

Gates admitted the affairs while maintaining that he did nothing “illicit” with his now-dead pedophile pal.
